Value: As an ancillary benefits, Joe partners closely with brokers and employers on all aspects of ancillary benefits such as disability (including NY DBL/PFL statutory benefits), life, dental, vision, leave management and supplemental voluntary benefits.

Origin Story: He spent the first 9 years of his career as a Senior Sales Account Executive at Unum, where he was a consistent top performer, and was accepted into the company’s Management Development Program (MDP). Upon completion of the MDP program, Joe served in a management role in Unum’s Hartford, CT sales and client management office. His extensive industry knowledge and experience working in multiple markets brings exceptional value to Nelligan, brokers and employers.

Joe earned his degree in Financial Economics from the University of Rochester (NY) with a certificate in management studies from the Simon School of Business.  While at Rochester, Joe played linebacker for the university’s football team.

He lives in Brighton, NY with his wife Chelsea.
